It's certainly a good looking forum, but would be better if members could actually register there. I keep being told 'The confirmation code you entered was incorrect.' Erm! What confirmation code?  |

What confirmation code? The confirmation code is right above where you enter it -- the characters in the graphic background. They are there to prevent bots from attempting to register. Note that the code is case sensitive as well. |

Note that the code is case sensitive as well. Thanks Dave. The problem is that I see no confirmation code, nor anywhere to enter one. When I attempt to register, it takes me straight from the 'Profile Information' section to being informed that I have entered the wrong code. It's rather difficult to enter a code I can't see into a box that's not showing. |

The problem was that the confirmation code did not work with the default style we changed to. For now, we will use the "aqua" style until we can figure out how to turn off the confirmation code. Sorry about the inconvenience.

Hi Matt -- welcome back. Probably the biggest thing is the team forum has moved. Click on the link in my sig to get there. You were sent instructions regarding the reset password we made for your first logon by e-mail. You can also go to the old forum here for information on what the password was set to if you don't want to sort through all the e-mail to get there -- it is in Graham's post at the bottom.

Sorry about that folks, I didn't realise the default theme we'd chosen didn't have the confirmation code support in. It seems the theme versions are integrated with the phpBB version, they're not completely independant.
----------------------------------------We've now chosen (for the time being) a theme which has the verification code enabled, and we're able to put a new banner on. Normal service is now resumed (for the time being)  |
