Hi all:
----------------------------------------Mark Reiss here. I am the founder of the team MERKO, and my user name is Merko. I run WCG using the BOINC Client and would like to see BOINC Team Stats exported in XML. Thank You ![]() |

Mark,
This is probably the top requested feature from BOINC users at this time. I am currently implementing the integration between our website and the BOINC software. With a bit of luck I should be able to wrap up development tommorrow and and after sufficient testing release it into production by end of next week. Kevin |

Excellent news! My team members will be so happy.
And on a related note, Kevin; a couple of weeks ago David Autumns was kind enough to contact you on my behalf about a similar xml feed for the entire WCG stats system. As I said then, I'll be happy to test it for you, as a stats consumer. Mine isn't the biggest team, but value added stats processing seems valuable to the more competitive members -- and with a live feed, others (including myself) can value add without any further effort from you (and share with the other teams, of course). It seems to have worked for BOINC :-) I'm guessing your schedule is still filled with quite a few more urgent things, though? |

We are planning on a set of enhancements to the stats pages that will address issues such as how long the stats process runs, performance of the stats pages, improved apperance of the stats pages and export of stats in an XML format. Due to the extent of the changes it will likely take as a bit to get the implemented and thoroughly tested.
I will either reach out to those who have already expressed an interest or I will make a post in the suggestions forum soliciting comments on XML stats interface when the time comes. thanks for your interest and enthusiasm. Kevin |
