I have had a proteome unit (Rosetta) working for over an hour, and the progress bar still says 0.00%.
Is there likely to be a problem, and if so should I abort it and download another unit - or is there another method? Thanks ![]() |

Update on this - boinc automatically aborted with 'unrecoverable error for result - error code 161' - and commenced a new unit.
I am assuming that all is OK now? ![]() |

Hi Adywebb,
Some work units run into a problem where the algorithm just does not converge to a solution for the protein using the selected random variable. After a while, the Rosetta program gives up on the non-convergent unit and returns this information to the server. It sounds as though that is what happened, though I do not know what error code BOINC shows for this situation. Anyway, assume that all is well. mycrofth |

Thanks for the info mycrofth - the next unit ran fine, so things appear to be well
