All,
I know it is frustrating that the client appears to be non-functional at the moment. I know that the percieved lack of response from the devs has everyone a little on edge. I know a good number of us are from other projects and came here to help with something we believed worthwhile. Don't give up yet. First, all distributed projects have issues at one point or another. As this is a new client (relatively), maybe we should give them a little slack. Second, they have had a HUGE influx of users in the last few days. Perhaps they weren't ready for the "stress test". Give these guys a chance to straighten out the kinks and I think this will get back on its feet quickly. If you drop now, you will be missing out on the opportunity to help them get their client to the point where you are contributing to the project as you first had hoped. If the devs come back and say that they are hopelessly broken, then entertain thoughts of abandoning this project. Hang on just a little bit all. P.S. Not a dev, moderator, or admin |

Thanks for the call for patience. The team is working on the problem now and hopes to have a resolution soon.

The team is working on the problem now and hopes to have a resolution soon. They should so state in some official way. |

The team is working on the problem now and hopes to have a resolution soon. I'm sure we're all--well, maybe most of us--willing to be patient. It would be really helpful, though, if the project team could post in the Known Issues or some other official location just this info--that they are know this is a problem and they are working on the problem. That would allow us to decide whether to shut down the application, to try to debug our own computers (to see if the problem is ours and not the apps'), etc. |

Excellent post.
I had just turned the software off before reading this. You changed my mind. Cheers. |
