It certainly appears that our efforts to obtain help, advice, or support is not forthcoming.
Lets hope the Admin have not all come down with a desease that this program may have provided the answer to. Excuse the pun. |

I have emailed techsupport a few times and have recieved replies back within 4 hours. Doesn't seem to bad to me... I think the forums are more for member to member support.

Given the well-established problems with which users are flooding the forums (particularly the chronically-aborting work units), admin needs to update the "known problems" forum and the (hard-to-find) FAQ (if not with a solution, at least with an acknowledgement of these issues). I've encouraged several people to participate in this project; after returning a few completed work units, each of us has since had every unit abort - frustrating for us, and not helpful to the project. Many posts in forums indicate people are abandoning the project for this reason. Admin needs to address.

The problems have now been sorted out 117 bad work units were discovered and have now been removed so its back to crunching good work units and getting credit for them Great work from the Development Team Thanks from Graham |

You are absolutely correct. Someone did not get the message "Houston we have a problem". There might be an effort to tidy up some of the forum segments like:
Member News (read only) "The lastest on system status, agent features, bug info, etc" last posted Nov. 16. Why bother? Feel bad about those 117 bad protein modules. Were there any good ones? And we only have a trillion to go. And while I'm at it. Does anyone know if you are in a forum why your screen name is given along with Newbie or Stranger? How about the first two columns of a thread? Does the icon that looks llike an envlope (aqua or orange mean anything)? Finally and most important: HOW CAN I GET A SMILIE IN THE SECOND COLUMN? |

And while I'm at it. Does anyone know if you are in a forum why your screen name is given along with Newbie or Stranger? You are listed as Stranger if you have less than 25 post. After 25, you become Newbie. (I think you change again once you hit 50, but not sure though) |
