I have encountered the same problem. I have a Dell Ispiron 51oo, which is rated at 104/100 in process. It keeps processing, and then seems to download another chuck of data, and repreat.....I think about 9 downloads by now. But each time all the CPU processing time disappears, and no results......????? I go back to old main frame times, working on an IBM 360. I still write in assembly language.....I am not upto date on what you are using. But I am sure, if WCG can't fix this issue, some of the members could. When I was writing code.....we had this thing call QA & QC. Quality Assurance and Control; did WCG really band this hard enough before you put it on-line. This can't be more than 25 + lines of code. Let's get the priorityes straight, before you invite thousands more in, who will bad mouth this and cost WCG in terms of Bad Public Relationships. This is something that tons of money can not buy. If I can be of assistance please contact me. Thanks....Don

Doesnt seem to be based on Computer rating. My Sager 8887 is rated at 180/100, still has been restarting many times.
hopefully Admin finds the problem soon, i was completing projects in 6-10 hours, and it has been restarting the tasks for about 3 days now...... Nick |

It is now 24 hrs since I uploades a completed work unit and the last dozen have aborted before reaching 5% The problems have now been sorted outI cannot believe that I could have gotten this many work units back to back that are incapable of folding which leads me to believe that there is a serious problem with this version of the processing software. WGC seem to be very remiss in addressing this problem since they have been advertised in the press, on news channels and on web sites around the world to encourage people to participate. How long do they assume people will continue to support this effort if they cannot or will not give an explaination as to what is causing this problem. Come on WGC, put our minds to rest and alleviate our frusteration before this project collapses I am absolutely sure that there are many participants who feel the same way as I do that are looking for an ANSWER 117 bad work units were discovered and have now been removed so its back to crunching good work units and getting credit for them Great work from the Development Team Thanks from Graham |
