It is now 24 hrs since I uploades a completed work unit and the last dozen have aborted before reaching 5%
I cannot believe that I could have gotten this many work units back to back that are incapable of folding which leads me to believe that there is a serious problem with this version of the processing software. WGC seem to be very remiss in addressing this problem since they have been advertised in the press, on news channels and on web sites around the world to encourage people to participate. How long do they assume people will continue to support this effort if they cannot or will not give an explaination as to what is causing this problem. Come on WGC, put our minds to rest and alleviate our frusteration before this project collapses I am absolutely sure that there are many participants who feel the same way as I do that are looking for an ANSWER |

I'm having the same exact problem. I submitted my first result just fine, my computer just chugged away for about 3 days then it was done. Now I can't get passed like 2%. Very strange. I would also like an answer to why this is happening.

Same here, left it running all weekend with the expectation of two, maybe three completing - nada.
Seems to be a couple threads regarding this... |

Same issues here as others have posted, throwing in my two cents for scope. Multiple computers, but not all of my instances. One is happily chugging away at 46% for example. Not enough info to troubleshoot further. Happy Monday all..

I joined on Nov. 19, and have an intel P4 2.8ghz with hyperthreading and 512m ram, an 128m video card, and 120g hd, and a 40g hard drive. I also have a laptop with an intel centrino 1.6ghz and 512m ram, and 40m hd. The two of them produced 1 work unit each, since then they have been running for two days straight and have been doing the reseting thing!! I also added a P3 .5ghz with 512m machine, and am trying it out, it is slow, but I think it's doing the same thing. They all have xp sp2 on them. I shut down my devices, because I don't want the cpu's to overheat for nothing!! I can't understand why no one addresses this problem... My machines are not "unstable" and I'm not getting any credit or points for the aborted runs...

It certainly appears that our efforts to obtain help, advice, or support is not forthcoming
Lets hope the Admin have not all come down with a desease that this program may have provided the answer to Excuse the pun |

I too, have had problems. I downloaded the agent last night. After an hour or so I looked at the progress and it was 7%.
Then, in the morning it had gone back to 0. It started again in the morning and went to 2%. Now it has just gone back to 1%. Is this supposed to happen? At the moment, my CPU time shows only 2hrs 3 mins, but in the total CPU time it says 0, with 0 points. I am running windows xp, with xp sp 2, and a 2ghz processor with 256 MB RAM. On the whole Im very disappointed with the reults so far, as the PC has been running the agent for nearly 24hrs, and the PC has only been in use for about an hour of that. |
