Lonnie, pond scum! Just how many user names do you have, exactly? However, the fact that you have also used more than one name, and belonged to far more than one team rather tends to negate your accusation against me.
Be that as it may, I am now, as team leader, requesting you not to post in this team thread again. Thank you! |

Lonnie, pond scum! Just how many user names do you have, exactly? However, the fact that you have also used more than one name, and belonged to far more than one team rather tends to negate your accusation against me. If you don't want me to post please don't ask questions of me. Now to answer. I have never changed my name. Scum is what I go by online and only use another if something happens that makes it impossible to use it. In the grids case I put my true name up on the grid 6 years ago (Count them 6 whole years with one name. Imagine that!!) when I did not understand how the grid worked. I also never start a team nor ask anyone to join the team I am on so your query about my switching is moot. I join then I leave. When I leave the team is richer by many points. Works out well for the both of us. Some other things I have never done are. Kicked someone out of the team discussion group for leaving the team for three days. Told someone you intend to ban them from the team forum every time they leave the team and they would have to go through the trouble to reapply every time they came back. Started a team only to abandoned it in less than a month. Sent a nasty PM to someone for asking you why they were the only one left on a team you created.(That team did not even last a week.) I accuse you of all this and more. As for staying out of YOUR threads? I will as soon as you do me the same courtesy. What's that? You say how can you, I change teams too often. Well at least you know who I am, by the time I figure out it's you it's too late for me I've joined the team or the thread and 9 times out of 10 I am sorrier for it. You ask for me to stay out of your thread? Shoot I'll go you one better. I will stay out of the same projects your in (That's the only way I know for sure I won't get caught up in one of your many teams under one of your many names and you'll not have to worry about me in your precious thread.) if you give me the grid and this one. If anything I stick to what I start. Apologies for the other folks that read this. |

Oh! Indeed?
----------------------------------------Team Liberty at UD/Grid.org.... lonnie_682638. Joined 03/14/2003. CPU time 9:230:15:19:33. Points 1,342,082. Results 5,508 Also a member of numerous other teams, both there and here. So much for that point. As to the rest, it is utter tosh. It appears that you are experiencing some difficulty in differentiating between fact and fiction. I have most certainly never kicked you out of anywhere - except any thread run for the benefit of this team. Also, it would be greatly appreciated if you would stop posting ridiculously juvenile remarks in our team forum. Or, I must 'actually' ban you. You really are going beyond all limits of reasonable behaviour. GET OUT - STAY OUT - GOODBYE! ![]() Admin, please lock this thread. Thank you! I will admit to getting a few facts wrong but you’ve got some of your facts wrong too.
1. I believe you just took how long I have been on grids forums. What you don’t know is they went down and started over. You just used the date I rejoined. If you like here are my real stats. 1/22/2002 is my date (You got me there I thought it was longer. Total CPU Time (y:d:h:m:s) (Rank) 24:071:17:25:09 (# 900) Points Generated (Rank) 3,409,763 (#1,019) Results Returned (Rank) 19,008 (#1,145) 2. I never said you kicked me out of the grid community. I said you banned my login out of the team forums. You did that three times to me when I was on team liberty. 3. You can’t ban me from posting in your thread all they can do is lock it and then you’ll be banned as much as me from your thread. On top of that even if you did get an admin to go through all that trouble of banning me from your thread it would not matter. Next month or week or something you’ll just abandon this team and go ointo another one. Look all I am asking is let a person know it’s you so those of us that want to avoid you like the plague may. Believe me once I know it's you I will stay away. Far away. |

Lonnie,
1. Your stats are there for all to see, complete with dates etc. 2. I did not ban you from the old Liberty team forum, nor from any other. As I explained to you at the time, the type of board we were then using automatically required re-registration of ‘any’ user who made no post within a certain number of days. You having been required to re-register had nothing to do with me, it was done by the board provider because the time between your posts exceeded the preset limits of the board. Which is one reason for us no longer using that type of board. As I recall, you had a conflict of opinion regarding a very similar matter with MZN, the leader of a Grid.org team. Having also accused her of banning you from the board . To the best of my knowledge, that team still uses the same type of board that we have now rejected as being unsuitable. 3. I really do not want to have anyone banned from either this thread or our forums, but your behaviour is leaving me little choice in the matter. As to the team being abandoned, time will be the judge of that. However, I advise you not to hold your breath while waiting. So long as we have one working PC between us, the Black Phoenix team will continue returning results to WCG. 4. OK! So, now that you do know it is me, maybe you will stop being such a pain and permit this team to function as intended. Which, in our opinion, is to the benefit of all humanity, Teams, user names etc are there to, supposedly add a little fun and friendly competition to the actual crunching. What really matters is that the job gets done. It matters not in the least which team or how many teams one belongs to, if any. If you choose not to be a member of this team, that is perfectly acceptable to us. Now, while I have no interest whatever in your personal grudge against me, maybe you would care to display some degree of consideration and respect for the other team members. We have both used more than one user name, both been members of more than a couple of teams, and both switched from Grid, org to the WCG as a result of the problems there - as have many other people here, I suspect. Leave it at that, and let us each get on with the business to hand in our own way. |

Afterthought!
As our having fired up a new team appears to have caused some degree of upset here, the members of Black Phoenix are fully prepared to extend the olive branch of peace by returning to to the Liberty Belle team - and staying there. Or, is there also a problem with us doing that? If so, we do not want to hear of it because we cannot please everyone all of the time. Good Lord above, anything for a little peace and harmony around here. |
