I realise that work units will take a range of times to complete, but at the moment my (normally fast PC), engaged on a FA@H task, has clocked up nearly 18 hours and is only 20% finished! Generally each assignment completes in 3-12 hours. Does the modelling process have any built-in time-limits? I feel that my CPU could be getting on with something else by now, including Genome Folding.

Hello Waterfield,
I just looked this up. Click Statistics - By Projects - (project). Here are the results: HPF : Run Time Per Result (y:d:h:m:s) 0:000:09:08:05 FAAH: Run Time Per Result (y:d:h:m:s) 0:000:09:11:53 I was surprised to see how carefully they are sizing the work units. But any individual work unit is going to deviate from the average since some are 10 times longer than others. The proof is in the crunching. mycrofth |

it doesn't matter what size the udxxyyzzz files are, each work unit on my machine takes around about 6-8 hours to complete. I've had a few that take about 4 hours though.
