Advanced systems setting question

if i do control panel/systems/advanced/performance settings, i have chosen 'adjust for best performance'.

then continuing on with performance settings/advanced, i have both options checked for best program performance.

question: are these the best settings for wcg crunching? i don't really know what 'background services' are anyway. thanks.

Re: Advanced systems setting question

Changing this setting will not make a difference in grid processing, but might affect the response for applications you normally run. I would leave these settings as they were. They are used to configure web servers, for example.
