I wonder where Bill is?

Below is part of a mesaage I saw from Bill about a month ago on the Brewing Equipment Newsgroup where he had recruited people (including myself) for this team. No further word from him since this note.

I hope not - though it seems like this sort of thing isn't a priority for him at the moment, there must be something else more pressing. We'll just carry on without him until his return.

Hi guys and gals, I'm home. It's been a heck of a party over at PCR_II, and they've crashed into the top 100, but it's now time to get serious here at Homebrew Central.

First, if any of you are still running the UD client - please switch to BOINC, it's not a difficult switch, and the new (5.4.9) client has some improvements to both performance and work scope - you'll crunch more with the same computer.



Second, it's not too early for dessert, is it?

Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00
Categories : Dessert Fruits

3/4 cup orange juice
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 ripe bananas -- peeled
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup quick-cooking oatmeal
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons cold butter -- cut into 6 pieces

Combine orange juice and vanilla; set aside. Slice bananas lengthwise and place cut side up in four buttered baking dishes. Combine flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, nutmeg and salt. Add butter. Using a pastry blender or two knives, blend until mixture resembles small peas. Drizzle bananas with orange juice mixture. Spoon crumble mixture over fruit. Bake at 375F for 15-20 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.


Lastly, it's time for me, at least, to try recruiting some new members. If anyone else has a desire to recruit and participate, please let me know, I'd be glad for the help.
