Some Wikipedia entries might be beneficial to approach terms found in the client. If someone with power on the FA@H web presentation reads this, please consider to mention these and other pages.

That's good that you are not complaining. All of those upper case letters is considered "screaming". Docking .... simply it is smashing molecules into the aids molecule to see if they stick to it. The more negative the numbers the better. Uppercase is considered screaming? Seriously? That's great My mom does that all the time with emails to people and chats, they probably think she is angry if they have heard of this concept, though I am so used to it I haven't looked at it as cyber-screaming. Could anyone point me to a thread or anything that kind of explains the whole depth of energy and what the "Electrostatic energy" and "non-bonded energy" is? Thanks :) I am newish to distributed computing, with my current machine anyways. |

Hello Glen10761,
And if the molecules stick to the aids molecule that is.....Good?Bad? That is good. We want a drug molecule to stick to the HIV virus. The more energy it loses when it grapples the virus (the negative energy) the tighter the connection, and that means that more energy is required to break the connection. |
