What is the task box you're reffering to? What pages are you trying to get to?

Hello halfcard,
Is Firefox or IE your default browser? You can always retreat back to IE by going to Start - Settings - Control Panel - Internet Options - Programs and then check the box labelled 'Always check that IE is your default browser'. Then Apply. Then bring up IE and when it asks, tell it to become the default browser. Then you will realize that Firefox was just a bad dream! (On Firefox, Tools - Options - General gets you to the same choice, but with the added convenience of a 'Check now' bar. Free of IE at last!!) It's always nice to have an alternative handy. mycrofth |

Actually, Firefox killed ALL the links launched from inside apps.
----------------------------------------Got rid of it faster than you can say "crap"! Uninstalling Firefox and running the freeware DefaultBrowser 1.4 fixed this nightmare! DefaultBrowser 1.4 available here: http://www.majorgeeks.com/DefaultBrowser_d4821.html Like they say: "if it ain't broke dont break it even further"! mmm [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Dec 1, 2005 11:33:09 PM] |
