shock World Community Grid Newsletter

Lukas Pichl (Boku)[url=mailto:lukas@icu.ac.jp]The newsletter is a great thing except for no references (e.g. to journal papers) are given. Could you please cite some of the ISB papers etc., resulting from the Grid calculations? Either the newsletter or the website would do. Thank you for considering this.

Re: World Community Grid Newsletter

Hello Boku,
The most recent status update from Dr. Richard Bonneau is here: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=4708

It says that the first paper is in late draft. Of course, our greatest interest is in papers that others will write citing the databases holding our results. But this first paper will introduce the databases to the scientific world. Dr. Lars Malmstroem at the University of Washington has been beta-testing the database interfaces.

What you have to realize is that we are providing research information to a project. The papers come after we have moved on to a new project. But we do intend to keep track of them as part of the history of a project.
