Excuse the stupidty, but I've looked at UDmon for ages and can't see what I'm looking for.
It's advertised with the phrase "provides an easy way to download several WUs at once and process them one by one, without communicating with the server in between". However, I can't see or work out how to actually get it to do that? I was expecting a setting like 'Download 10 WU's" or "Download 100 hours WU" or something. But there isn't. All I've found is a 'Send\Receive' option. How do I instruct it to go and fetch me a few WU's? BTW - I've not actually run it on an Internet connected PC yet - only from a standalone - not sure if that makes the setting schnage? Thanks Ted |

Ted,
Have a look at http://www.dslreports.com/faq/1474 which gives a lot of detail. The only other thing that you need to be careful about is that you start UDMon by using the udmon-wcg.bat file which can be found in the UDMon install directory. Let us know if you have any other problems after reading the above. |

That's great...worked a treat. I've just downloaded 10 WU's for crunching on my rather powerful work PC. It averages about 3-4 WU's in a 24 hour period so it should finish these 10 easily by Monday.
For others reading this, very basically, just right click in the Cache tab, tick the box for 'Enable Cache', right clik in the white space and select 'New Slot'. Do that 5 or 6 times (for as many WU's as you want), then click 'Send\Receive', UD will open, enter your username and password and it will download a WU. Then exit UD, and click 'Next' on UDmon. It will then repeat the process. Exit when you have all your WU's. Ted |
