Re: anyone NOT starting over repeatedly?

are you referring to the starting over before crunching or during it ??

i found out that the restarting to download before it evens starts crunching
( the apoxr. 30 to 90 secs thing) was solved by increasing the paging file in the virtual memory manager

about the other restarts i dunno, havent had that problem yet :)

shock Re: anyone NOT starting over repeatedly?

Sometimes this is caused by a computer that isn't completely stable and as such when the client detects a processing error it stops working and restarts. Make sure your systems is stable and if it is overclocked you may want to try running it at spec to see if that solves the problem. Remember that even though your computer may get more work units done when it is overclocked there may also be errors in the completed report for those work units which would unfortunately make them useless. So if your going to run your system overclocked you would be doing yourself a favor to run a program like "Prime95" to test it for stability prior to doing any work units because a completed work unit that contains errors is a waste of your time and ours.
