No info displayed on UD graphic panel section B & C

I'm a new user and only working on the third unit. Since this latest unit started there has been no information shown in B-Docking Energies or C-Best Docking Energy. The A panel is showing the white bands, but no colored circles. The Current Progress bar is showing % complete (44.3% right now). The first two units displayed information in the A&B panels.

Is it normal not to see anything in the B & C panels?

The only thing I changed between the first two units and this third one was to increase my storage from 1GB to 2GB.

I'm using Windows XP, AMD 2.1Ghz, 1GB memory, 2GB storage, cable connection. I'm using the United Devices app (v4.0.3.1) which I downloaded a few days ago.

Thanks for any information you can provide on this.

Re: No info displayed on UD graphic panel section B & C

Welcome to the community,
Other than saying graphics are an 'active topic' right now - there seems to be a few 'issues'...
It is not 'normal' to have blank B&C panels, I don't see the storage affecting the graphics per sé, stay tuned for more from the admins...

billwill4u,

There are certain restrictions on data displayed so that only dockings which are 'good' in terms of energy are shown. This helps with clutter as well as to provide some visual measure of how good the current configurations are. There probably aren't a large number of work units where no items would ever be displayed, but it is likely that you have encountered one. Of course, these sorts of results are equally important to researchers because they provide more data on how exactly items do or do not dock well.

Is it normal? Well, that depends on your definition of normal :-)

First, there is nothing wrong with your machine or settings.

Currently, we restrict the graphics to displaying only dockings that are "good", i.e. falls within a specific data range. If nothing is being displayed, it means that there have been no strong dockings found. However, as longs as the percent is increasing, things are working normally, and checkpoints are still happening.

We know that this appears like the workunit is doing nothing, but it in fact is working properly and generating proper results. We are working right now to see what we can do to make the graphics not appear "dead" when poor dockings are found.

I hope this helps.
