Is there a way to force the client to fetch the settings at once?

Hello figger,
Yes, you can try to force a connection to the server by the UD.exe Windows Agent by minimizing it, then double-clicking the WCG icon in the Systray to bring the Agent Screen back onto the display. The Windows client will attempt to connect to the server if you do this (useful feature if you are on manual dialup). I do not know all the effects that limiting communication times in the Device Profile can have on this process, but I suspect that it could disable this feature. mycrofth |
