Were there errors on tonight's rollup?

My contribution to the grid dropped off significantly, according to the daily rollup. But when I look at the devices, many of the Linux agents show recent results returned (that should have shown up in the rollup) but have no points for the day. As I pondered on how this could happen, I came up with a few possibilities:

1) glitch in the database causing some work to be dropped (no credit given)
2) glitch with rolling up work credit for the BOINC agent (I did not see any Windows agent devices not have numbers for the 26th but did see most of the Linux BOINC agent devices have a history up to the 25th even though they show a result returned on the 26th.)
3) glitch with the new AIDS@HOME project and credits not showing up (iffy since most machines have picked up some AIDS work before the 26th)

Anyone know what is really up?

hechlerg,

It looks like everything is normal when you look at the total results returned in the Global Statistics, Global Statistics History but when you look at Results Returned by Members Yesterday I think I see a trend that is affecting BOINC Linux users. Is that what you see?

Sorry for the delay in responding.

The was an error in the validator processing which caused the validator to stop validating results (and therefore stopped you from getting credit for those results). I have resolved the error and have restarted validator processing it will take a bit for it to catch up but the next time stats are run it should be mostly caught up.
