First time user, getting no work available to process on my end

So I had BOINC for a couple of weeks and I tried to do some work for some other projects, but I haven't got any work from them. I heard about the World Community Grid and signed up for it today, but I'm still not getting any work. I'm not sure if it's because I did something wrong when setting up BOINC or if I missed something while setting it up. I'm using docker desktop for BOINC to run on, and I'm using BOINC while running a remote setup. My PC meets the recommended specs for the projects I signed up for, and while using the remote setup this PC isn't very active. If anyone has any input on this, I would appreciate it. Maybe this is one of those things I need to wait out for a bit for BOINC to sort things out idk lmao.

WCG is not sending out any work units at this time. The problem is not on your end.

BOINC projects often run out of work.
You could try attaching to PrimeGrid to see if you can receive work, they always have work. If you don't want to stay attached to Primegrid you can then remove that project.
You can still be attached to WCG at the same time and when work is available it will be sent.

Re: First time user, getting no work available to process on my end

If you like PrimeGrid and figuring out prime numbers to the umteen billion value or MilkyWay if you like to work on something ~70,000 light years away then do those.
NOT saying that knowledge is of no value. All knowledge is of value.

But if you if like something health or health science then you could attach to Rosetta. Their status page say 0 WUs but 14,000 in progress thus some must have been available recently so I let it asks for tasks and got a queue full.

Have been doing Milkyway since early September.
