My boinc app on Linux is trying to download data. AS it try to download it keeps going from download: active to download: pending, in 1 second intervals. When the download: active is connected and data is transferring it stays connected for 1 second then disconnects. This goes on for several minutes then the files dissapear from the transfer page of the program. When I restart boinc the files reappear and try to continue to downloading the files. This has been going on for a week and I have yet gotten a full download to process.

To date, the *ONLY* files that have been attempting to download are the "project files" with the extension of .png.

The list continues and keeps attempting to download until the operation times out for each of the 55 project files.
It is an indication that things are still not fully functional on the offsite host computers that WCG uses on Nibi (WCG's new host environment discussed elsewhere).

I would think that validating the WU's is more important at this time than the failed downloads of the .png files. Although, I do not have an inside track to know if those two functions are interrelated.

And yes, it is quite frustrating - but, I look forward to when things get sorted out and the host system is fully functional with WU's flowing to-and-fro.
