Thread: CPID got changed after a while |

My account randomly changed CPID yesterday without reason, my email didnt change and my other BOINC accounts still has the same CPID. I did try and change the email in WCG to see if i change back to my main email, it would return back, but it didnt. |

Hi MacStevins, welcome to WCG.
I see that you have not crunched any WCG workunits yet. For CPID to sync you need to have WCG and at least one other Boinc project installed on the same device. Then you have to run an update on each one. Since you have not crunched any WCG workunits you may have never had an update run. I hope this helps. Good luck. |

hi!
I see that you have not crunched any WCG workunits yet. The thing is that, I've been doing tasks on both my PC and phone, 82 tasks in 5 days in the Results page, but on the History page, its just blank. And I just checked my Devices page, it just showed my devices finally. ...at least one other Boinc project installed on the same device. Yeah, I had 5/4 projects connected on my PC and phone respectfully, i just disconnected it for now. |

Ok, I tried doing what you told me, which is do to do a workunit even if I had done it before the change, and it still didn't reset back to my old CPID, and that's with other projects which has the same CPID but not with WCG.

I have the same problem with the CPID. I have all projects added to one host, the tasks are recalculated, but my CPID is different in WCG, and there's no synchronization. Can this be changed manually? My CPID in the other projects is 7099296b0327f22f5f212dd7e2723126

Can you change the differing CPID in the other projects to that of WCG? If yes, problem solved.
