Looks like things will get worse (again) before they (possibly) get better....
Not only are there no new WUs, now there are frequent "System Error" responses on the Results page as well as on the forum... It would really appreciate if WCG Towers would become a bit more communicative again and let us know what is going on. And I don't mean posting "WUs are flowing again!" on the Jurisica "Operational Status" page when they clearly are NOT! This is currently the worst performance for more than a year on WCG... Ralf |

I notice that Dylan has posted a "working on it" message, and I actually got a few new tasks around 17:40 UTC. By 21:00 UTC all my systems had acquired at least 50% of the tasks allowed by their respective profile-defined limits, which isn't bad considering the competition there has presumably been for new work!
I suspect it might be fair to say that things have now changed from ""WUs are coming back" to "WUs are now available" -- they didn't actually say "WUs are flowing again" but I suppose it was possible to read it that way :-) So thanks, Dylan and company... Now I'm left to wonder whether we will still have the regular 24 to 48 hour MCM1 new work drought once a week... Cheers - Al. |

Well, there was some short squirt of WUs, on five (5) of about two dozen hosts, and a lot of those hae already been returned, leaving currently 86 WUs until the morning... I suspect it might be fair to say that things have now changed from ""WUs are coming back" to "WUs are now available" -- they didn't actually say "WUs are flowing again" but I suppose it was possible to read it that way :-). Definitely neither "WUs coming back" nor "WUs are available" from where I am sitting. Let's see how this looks in the morning... Ralf |

Tongue firmly in cheek!!! WCG, for the last 3 years (give or take) is run (no pun intended) out of Toronto, Canada, so tariffs don't come into play here... Not many work units shown today at: wuprop.boinc-af.org/active_projects.py
I did notice that the Mapping Arthritis Markers (MAM) project has just appeared in Device Profiles. |

And here we go again, as the rapidly increasing number of both validated WU as well as the number of WUs on PVa jail kept increasing while WCG Towers spend time to play with a rather pointless new forum, the system started to take a dive by now.
No reporting of finished WUs and the Results web page has become unresponsive, probably due to some database error, as it has been the case repeatedly in the past... Ralf |

Seems like we're back to no WU's coming out again....although, so far, there seems to still be upload of completed WU's possible.....but my forward work is starting to look a bit thinner than ideal..... What's happening at Krembil - any update from the Techs please on timing for a return to 'normal' service???
