Hosting fixed the BOINC db connectivity problem, box is back up, should be able to bring the BOICN ocmponents online within the next few hours

Got some new MCM1 work at 15:38 UTC -- at 15:30 it was still showing "feeder not running" so I think we have a reasonable idea of when things got going properly!

WU's are flowing here but background tasks are still in progress (i.e., stats) when I attempted to check my Device Profiles, I received the following message:
Statistics update The page you requested is currently unavailable because the statistics are being updated. The statistics update will finish in about 1 minutes . THANKS DYLAN!! |

The MCM results are still stuck in my results list. The ARPs did get removed, so this is a MCM only issue.
I can't get to my device page, I get a weird message about stats needing another minute. |

RESULTS page does load for me at the moment.
But the My contribution OVERVIEW page is not fully loading. Hopefully it is just a matter of waiting for the various tasks to complete. I trust Dylan will brief us when the site is stable. |

Regarding various oddities caused by missed statistics runs...
As the BOINC database was unavailable when both the midnight and midday stats runs should have happened, the linkage between the BOINC and non-BOINC databases seems to get confused. Hence the "The statistics update will finish in about 1 minutes" message from parts of the non-BOINC side -- that seems to include things like device profiles (which don't seem to be accessible during a normal Stats run either) as well as the Project statistics pages. The effect on some other pages will be that they are out of date or incomplete... As well as missing two stats runs, the three ARP1 "progress report" files won't have been properly generated (they are produced just after UTC mid-day...). Yesterday's files were o.k. (so Mike could do his Sunday ARP1 progress report with then-current data) but today's files are all empty... Cheers - Al P.S. When I checked for the midnight stats run recently the Project stats page is still stuck at that "finish in about 1 minutes" page (as is any effort to get at device profiles), so something's still not right... If there has been a midnight stats run, the web site doesn't seem to know about it :-(
