After one day computation, there is 192 days remaining !!!
I have 3 Beta MAM WUs stucking on the same machine in the same way.

At the other side, it seems that MAM is running smoothly on Linux hosts.

Cheers,
Yves

Re: BETA - Mapping Arthritis Markers

After rebooting the host, one of the Beta MAM WUs hase been stopped and reported as errored; the other Beta MAM WUs just restarted by 0.

By the way, the feeder is offline !

Re: BETA - Mapping Arthritis Markers

The problem occurs as well on Linux hosts.
After rebooting the host, some of the Beta MAM WUs are errored.

Re: BETA - Mapping Arthritis Markers

Across 4 Windows 10 AMD hosts the result is the same. The Beta WU are check-pointing, however the progress stays at .5% and the estimated remaining days keeps climbing.

Additional Note 1: We normally would get credit for Beta work regardless of the result. We are not getting credit granted for the work done.

Additional Note 2: In the past, an Admin would post a beta announcement in the "Beta Announcements" section, and open a corresponding feedback thread in the Beta Support section. That keeps everything together for feedback review, instead of having multiple threads.

Thank you!!! Good to see yet another user making that point, though it's sad that it's because there's yet another new[ish] thread...

The need for a single response thread has also been raised in several of the other threads on this Beta test! If there isn't an obvious common thread, there's a lot of users not getting the assistance or reassurance they need, and it's frustrating for those who are trying to help...

Cheers - Al.

I agree fully about that, but it would be much easier for people to find the right thread to post to, if they used the "Recent Threads" tab, instead of the "Index" tab. I never use the Index tab, unless I really want to look for anything in a specific sub forum. Even the "Search" tab, can be used of course, to search for something specific.

Re: BETA - Mapping Arthritis Markers

I too had a restart one of my Beta MAM task after round 14 hours running at 0.5 % with no checkpointing file created
BETA_BETA30_9800026_0595
After additional round 5 hours runtime with staying at 0.5 % and again no checkpointing file created I aborted the task, because it can not finish on my computer (will not run 24/7)
I have 2 other task where checkpointing is working
1d 17:55 at 74.7 %
and
1d 20:55 at 70.3 %
I will let this task run till they end.

best regards
Matthias

I'm glad I'm not the only one! Yes, it needs to be a specific thread for that specific beta test, and it should be locked within a reasonable time-frame after completion to avoid non-relevant posts.

This assumes of course that the researchers will read the feedback from the beta testers (and they really should). However there was no announcement in the "Beta Test Announcements" of this, so who knows.

Re: BETA - Mapping Arthritis Markers

Had a few BETA tasks for the Mapping Arthritis Markers. Some are not going beyond 0.500% after multiple hours, and so far none have liked being resumed. Always results in a computation error when restarted.
