I am still getting Windows units, but my Linux systems are dry. I am thinking about maybe upping the queue limits to perhaps 1.5 to 2 days from 1 day. At least that would cover most of the weekend.

I am maintaining a full quorum of MCM most of the time, but ARP is down to 2 instead of 12.

I'm getting the MCM tasks that I need, but it does feel a little bit shaky, when it sometimes goes hours between new tasks, and the dreaded "Tasks are committed to other platforms" shows up time after time. I may elect to also increase the queue limits to 1.5 days, from 1 day.

I'll take a short break from WCG after I have crunched what I have in the cache, With what I have in the caches + the P.Val tasks, I will soon get the 10 year badge for MCM. I'm at 9:343:17:09:13 now.

Happy Monday !
----------------------------------------ARP is flowing. MCM is in a "tasks are committed to other platforms" cycle, what platforms?? I don't think any of us get tasks when MCM does this edit to add: finally some fresh MCM WUs. I had run dry. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Unixchick at May 19, 2025 3:12:43 PM] |

ARP is flowing. MCM is in a "tasks are committed to other platforms" cycle, what platforms?? I don't think any of us get tasks when MCM does this A statement to brief us volunteers as to precisely what platforms and versions (if appropriate) are being supported for each project (i.e., ARP1, MCM1 & etc,) would be helpful, However, a server status screen updated about every ?? minutes showing available WU's for each project and platform would not only be ideal but would be heartily appreciated all! (hint, hint) |

I believe WCG supports Windows, Linux, Mac & Android. However not all are supported on all projects. If copy -0 goes out to a platform then copy -1, etc, goes out to the same platform. Mike |
