confused Trying to connect with the grid server

It says Agent paused and every so often it tries to receive so many bytes from the server but it just goes back to 'Agent paused'. I don't think it's my firewall because when my firewall asked me to allow or block the connection I clicked allow.

Here is the page under Help - Trobleshooting about 'Agent Paused': http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/viewCause.do

If it does not help, then give us a description of your system and its security software. There are plenty of members who can help you.

Re: Trying to connect with the grid server

Hi I've installed the program on a Windows 2003 server PC. I can see that data is downloaded from the internet, but the moment the task is to start The proigram stops with the message 'Agent paused'

Re: Trying to connect with the grid server

Hi NL10212,

Often PC's used as servers are older systems that no longer have the horsepower to be used on the desktop but have storage or other features that still are useful in a networked environment. Many do not meet the minimum requirements for the applications we are running. Check to see that your system meets the Minimum Requirements. If it does meet the requirements, there is quite a bit of information regarding causes of "Agent Paused" available in the Help Facility topic Agent Paused. If you are unable to solve your problem after checking these out, get back to us here and we can work with your further on this.

Best regards,
