Show Graphics not working in NixOS

I have been wondering is there anyway to make graphics work on nixOS, been searching for days but to no avail. Writing this to see if I am the only one with this issue and to see if anyone have clues to this problem thanks.

Re: Show Graphics not working in NixOS

I'm not familiar with nixOS, but since it's a Linux derivative, do you know if you have XScreenSaver loaded on that machine?

If so, try adding the: GL: boincscr -root \n\ line to your .xscreensaver file (it's hidden so you have to unhide) as per this thread:

If nixOS is similar to Ubuntu, look at Message 51595 on this thread --> https://boinc.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=8727

If you continue to have difficulties, post over on the BOINC forum since they wrote the program that WCG uses. Hope this helps...
