My runtime shows 40days, more like a week and a half.

My runtime shows 40days, more like a week and a half. Also shows I've churned 177k points, but according to BOINCstats I only have 38k for WCG. First: WCG points are 7 times more than BOINC points. This is a result of the way they awarded points during the time prior to utilizing the BOINC environment. Seven times your Boincstats total is 266,000 points for WCG. I don't know why you would have that big a discrepancy. See here Second: There is a delay between when WCG posts your points and when BoincStats updates its totals. The run time is the total of your CPU time for your validated work units. Each thread accrues cpu time. So 2 threads running 24 hours per day would accrue 48 hours of run time. I see from Boincstats you are running a machine with 40 threads so you will accumulate time based on 40 threads times the amount of time you are running each day(approximately). This is happening to me as well. I have been a member of WCG since 2014, stopped running BOINC in 2020, and recently started back up. I have several pages of validated results from the past week or so, yet, the my contribution page hasn't been updated to reflect this, and still says I haven't contributed anything since 2020. Please post about the first 50 lines or so from your event log and we may be able to help you. Cheers

Same problem here, I have 3 devices recently installed and started running. Only one appears on "my device". My points and run time also were not updating, however, I have already hundreds of tasks completed, most of which are valid already. The only way for me to see is results page, they are on it. The "my contribution" page doesn't seams to be updating. It is really frustrating when my points/run time wasn't increasing while my computer is running 7x24. And my WCG signature is still "inactive".

i uploaded more than 1000 completed workunits and my contibutions is still equal to zero, no devices listed. something is wrong i guess in the website... no any kind of help or support, i have 150 more wus to crunch and after i will give up with wcg

i uploaded more than 1000 completed workunits and my contibutions is still equal to zero, no devices listed. something is wrong i guess in the website... no any kind of help or support, i have 150 more wus to crunch and after i will give up with wcg It is more likely that with a problem like this, there is a problem on your end. Like different BOINC IDs or such. Even with the recent problems, I am averaging about 800 WUs a day, and even a recently (ok, about 5 weeks ago now) added laptop is showing up just fine on my end, and so it is apparently for a lot of other users, so I think there is such a general web site issue. And I have seen very few posts about the at least temporary issues that brand new hosts didn't immediately show up on the devices list... Ralf  |

Ralf Robix73Sicily: You are listed as being part of team BOINC.Italy. You are accruing statistics for the team, but not under the name Robix73Sicily. Given your total under that name from Boincstats and multiplying by 7 I suspect your name at WCG is either M.Grignoli, zatopec, or stepas 85[Veneto]. Cheers
