I have a number of permanently decommissioned pc's, however my installed devices list still has them listed. Can I remove these? If so how is that done? Thanks for any help. :)

There is no way to remove the devices. The World Community Grid technical staff has indicated that they will, at some point, make a change which will allow you to merge points for systems (and, I would presume remove the devices that were merged from), but it is in a long list of changes that have been requested.
