Re: Points on the website are different than on the agent?

Wow... I have the EXACT same problem! 3 Machines running client, 1 uninstalled/reinstalled. 4 clients registered in 'Show Devices', yet only two show up as reporting jobs...

I agree, great cause, but basic things like the UI make me question whether my CPU cycles are being put to good use at all. If the basic unit recording mechanism doesn't work, then what am I wasting electricity for?

Dear developement team,
Please get this together.

cool Re: Points on the website are different than on the agent?

Just wondering a bit... But can it be possible that the updates run also on different times (on a more periodic way then once a day), which would be more in line with other time-zones?

Re: Points on the website are different than on the agent?

I'm running this on a few machines and this is what I noticed.

Every time your client communicates with the grid, it pulls your current accurate statistics. This happens when you finish a WU and post it to the grid. Now, if one client finishes a WU and another is still crunching, the one that connected most recently will have the correct statistics. When the second one finishes and updates, it becomes the accurate client while the other is one WU behind and so on.

It appears that on client startup, it does not comunicate with the grid to pull your current stats so restarting the client does not clear up the discrepancy.

The stats pages only get updated once every 24 hours at the moment. Only worthwhile to check it once a day.

Hope that helps.
