Hello,
----------------------------------------I attached a new computer to WCG today and got the error above. It is possible that in the past I had a dingo1 hostname but this is a different machine with different hardware. I detached as advised by the error message and re attached but still get the message. dingo1 44 World Community Grid 30/11/2023 3:55:49 PM You are attached to this project twice. Please remove projects named World Community Grid, then add http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ I have started getting work so that is not affected. |

I'm assuming you are not using an account manager. Which BOINC version are you using? The one available from WCG (7.16.11) or the most recent one, 7.24.1?
----------------------------------------I would try 7.24.1. If it doesn't work, I guess you could either attach using HTTP instead of HTTPS, or post the issue on this thread: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg...ead,44158_offset,0#673986 AMD Ryzen 5 1600AF 6C/12T 3.2 GHz - 85W AMD Ryzen 5 2500U 4C/8T 2.0 GHz - 28W AMD Ryzen 7 7730U 8C/16T 3.0 GHz |

I am getting something similar:
----------------------------------------Sat 02 Dec 2023 11:53:12 AM EST | World Community Grid | Another scheduler instance is running for this host I shut down all of Boinc on my machine and restarted it. It does not help I am not the only one. |

Same here. Must be some problem with the WCG servers. I tried a restart, cold start, and reset the project. Still the same. My conclusion is the problem is at the WCG end and not mine.
----------------------------------------Cheers

Website is very slow and I also started getting the "Another scheduler instance is running for this host" in the 2 hours. Also intermittently this one:
----------------------------------------Scheduler request to https://scheduler.worldcommunitygrid.org/boinc/wcg_cgi/fcgi failed: HTTP service unavailable AMD Ryzen 5 1600AF 6C/12T 3.2 GHz - 85W AMD Ryzen 5 2500U 4C/8T 2.0 GHz - 28W AMD Ryzen 7 7730U 8C/16T 3.0 GHz [Edit 1 times, last edit by Falconet at Dec 2, 2023 8:23:26 PM] |

I just noticed that issue this morning on my newest system as well.
Set it to accept no new tasks for now as I planned to investigate further when I get home from work today. Originally thought it was on my end but it now appears it is system wide. So I will await response from WCG. |

I'm also getting the "Another scheduler instance is running for this host" message, preventing completed tasks from being reported back.
----------------------------------------I thought it was something wrong my end, so relieved to see others having same issue. Doesn't help though. |

I'm getting the same error here.
----------------------------------------I've reset the project and rebooted the machine. No good. I removed the project, rebooted the machine, reattached the project. No good. Rebooted my network proxy. No good. No other project is having the same issue, just WCG. ergo it's not on my end at all. Currently being moderated under false pretences |
