Device Idle???

Hi, I just started using the world community grid, but the agent has been saying "agent idle due to device profile setting" all night (>6 hours). I have already set the time in the device profile to "on all the time". Is there something wrong w/ my agent?

Re: Device Idle???

Does the Device Profile section of your Agent say: Profile Name DEFAULT?

Re: Device Idle???

The profile defaults to on all the time so unless you have changed this previously you should not have had to change it now. Can you tell me if you have a high number of minutes set for "Snooze sleeps for "? This is the only other thing I can think of.

Re: Device Idle???

My device profile is set as "default" and some how the times were set at odd times (5-6am), so I changed it to "on all the time"

My snooze time is 5 minutes, and it's been like that at the start, haven't changed it at all.

Re: Device Idle???

The agent on your machine will need to connect to the server for the on-off times to be updated. I'd be tempted to uninstall from this machine and do a clean install - this will force it to contact the server now for new work. Perhaps mycrofth has a better idea . . . .

Re: Device Idle???

We always have trouble distinguishing between the Device Profile on the Agent and the one on the server (web site). What does your Agent say? (Everything under Device Profile and Custom Schedule)
