Re: Daily WorkUnit Flow Information

Anyone want a spreadsheet to forecast their next badge due date?

Mike

An interesting concept. I fooled around with one when I got close to my last badge. It would be interesting to see what the progression would be, but if I start looking at that again, I get a really unhealthy obsession with putting additional hardware to use.
Cheers

Discipline is key. I have used it to determine how many existing threads to dedicate to a project as it nears conclusion in conjunction with app_config.xml by reducing threads for other projects, while keeping them all spinning.

Thanks Mike. The key for me is how much electricity can I afford. biggrin

Re: Daily WorkUnit Flow Information

I'm going off grid for a few days, so I'm really grateful for the image that automatically updates hourly. Nothing has really changed since we started exchanging info on this thread. Only 2 projects are active SCC and MCM. The question is are those 2 projects sending out enough to keep those who want to process them busy?

TigerLily - any word on when ARP will be active again?

Happy to help with the image! :)
A bit of an update on the text file.. I'm having SSL problems on the previous server, so the text file is now found at this address instead: https://stuxnode.com/wcg.txt

Re: Daily WorkUnit Flow Information

The problem with the current projects is that we have no idea when they might finish. That is why I started to forecast the end date of ARP1, but that hasn't been stable enough for some time.

Based on my machines, the answer is yes. I have had no problem keeping my queues filled with both projects.

Re: Daily WorkUnit Flow Information

Hi Unixchick,

The ARP team is still experiencing storage issues and the situation remains the same as described in recent news updates. Unfortunately, I do not have any updates in terms of when this will be resolved.

Re: Daily WorkUnit Flow Information

Thank you for the update/reply TigerLily !
I'll try to be patient for ARP, but I do hope they will have good news for us soon. They should be sending out the early generation WUs during this time of issues. The progress made on those is more important than the others.

Re: Daily WorkUnit Flow Information

UPDATE:

my latest ARP1-workunit
my latest MCM1-workunit
my latest OPN1(*1)-workunit (**added**)
my latest SCC1-workunit

[*1] We all would know by now that this is actually OPNG-only.

See post 686534 for the background of this initiative.
