Re: [Error] ATOM syntax incorrect: "62 " is not a valid atom number

I am trying a hot fix on the *.pdbqt files by applying this:
# grep -l ^ATOM"    62 " *.pdbqt && echo HOT FIX && sed -i 's/^ATOM    62 /ATOM     62 /' $(grep -l ^ATOM"    62 " *.pdbqt)

Yes, it works!
I was thinking about a hotfix too, but it makes no sense, cause you have to fix it for the wingman too.
Your returned task will wait for ever in Pending Validation state.

Yes, you're right, Crystal Pellet, thanks for the reminder. Let's hope the techs will fix it soon. biggrin

Re: [Error] ATOM syntax incorrect: "62 " is not a valid atom number

There is one really irritating issue caused by that bad batch -- it only takes one error to stop the reliable host rating for an application, so as soon as one of those crops up none of the subsequent tasks dealt with by the server will be able to validate without a wingman until a stream of (I think) 10 consecutive successful returns; and, of course, somewhere in the next 10 tasks would be another bad one!

Cheers - Al.

Re: [Error] ATOM syntax incorrect: "62 " is not a valid atom number

I am getting lots of these atom number 62 errors and seeing all copies failing with the same error. This is a waste of everyone's crunching time, but there is so little out there to crunch that I am reverting to one machine until something happens.

Yeah, all WUs of that particular batch are bad, all crap out as soon as they are being started. Luckily, it is ONLY a waste of a bit of bandwidth, but then at the same time, the overall well of MCM1 WUs has run dry too.

Let's see what the days brings... confused

These errors would have been caught if Krembil was doing Alpha testing.
----------------------------------------

  • i5-10400 (Comet Lake, 6C/12T) @ 2.9 GHz
  • i5-7400 (Kaby Lake, 4C/4T) @ 3.0 GHz
  • i5-4590 (Haswell, 4C/4T) @ 3.3 GHz
  • i5-3330 (Ivy Bridge, 4C/4T) @ 3.0 GHz

Not only MCM but the other projects too. As far as I can tell nothing is going out, at least for the moment.

ARP has been rare as hen's teeth anyway, the last new WUs I got are from last week.

OPN[1,G] is on known hiatus, so no surprise here (though I got a single OPN1 _2 WU the other day) and HST, despite being designated an "active" project (while SCC is still designated "intermittent") has been the equivalent of Unobtainium since before the move.

The only thing that has always been in ample supply by WCG towers has been the lack of communication...

Re: [Error] ATOM syntax incorrect: "62 " is not a valid atom number

Thought, or rather hoped, the issues with SCC atom 62 faults had been resolved. So I re-enabled one of my smaller system’s profiles but, the first SCC barely out of the gate faulted.

Therefore, until Krembil lets us know that the issues with SCC’s atom “62 “ have, indeed, been fixed SCC processing with my computers has and will remain offline!

If it is easier to sort through through the WU’s by processing them, perhaps you have an available computer that can be used to do so until the backlog of faulty WU’s have been cleared. According to my log entry (see above), we only get one WU per day when that happens.

You have my email address if you wish to discuss this further.

ETA: since there is reported movement in valid WU's, I'll put the smaller systems back online and see how they go.

All tasks seem to fail on different computers. Devs?
