For years every time I interact with this website, I've had to manually log in.
All the boxes are checked to remember me, and it's true on every device, every browser. Banks take longer to log me out than World Community Grid. I'm not sure why the website is so strict - what do we imagine a hostile party with access to my desktop would do? Switch my preferences to only Beta workunits? Use my account to type expletives in the forum? |

----------------------------------------I have no such problems. My persistent cookie for WCG keeps me logged in for 2 months, before it expires, and I have to log in again. Browser: Edge Chromium. That's odd. Well, good to know it's not happening to everybody. Doesn't happen to me either, I am usually logged in on a couple of tabs (3 actually, Overview, Results and the forum) among the 40 or so that I always have open on my communications PC, and I might have to re-login maybe once a week or after the system went down, once again...Ralf  |
