It's weird - OpenPandemic and Africa Water ran fine. Sorry, Ian, I'm also not familiar with MacOS, and XProtect is new to me. hchc may have a good point there. I think this might also be why cancer markers ends up going in a loop. I'll reenable it and test now that the permissions have actually stuck (I'd swear blind I did them when I set up Boinc). Actually, if you say "going in a loop", meaning that MCM1-tasks keep restarting, that might be another issue. See e.g. this thread (#44283). |

Yeah, Xprotect doesn't have too much that's configurable and it isn't throwing any warnings - so if it is that then there's no eay way to pin it down.
----------------------------------------Anyway, for both SCC and MCM tasks queued now, so will find out soon enough. ETA: whether or not this turns out to be the issues with SCC, it is not what was causing MCM to spiral. ETA2: SCC now seems to be working properly - so Boinvc needs full disk access for SCC to work reliably. [Edit 3 times, last edit by Ian C at Apr 28, 2023 8:21:42 PM] |
