devilish Re: [error] Error reported by file upload server: Server is out of disk space

Just leave them be

The Admins can set a flag to ignore the due date and accept overdue WUs

Its happened for me on a couple of different projects over the years

I have not seen it in 6+ years. Just one question. I have over 20 results waiting to be uploaded. i can wait but it appears to be preventing me from getting Rosetta work due to insufficient RAM. Since the PC only crunches, WCG and Rosetta is there a connection between use of RAM and WU results waiting to upload?

Being able to sign-in again is a good first step. The rest will follow.

Not RAM but maybe disk space if you are close to the limit.
Only other cross project effect I am aware of is 1 project unable to communicate can wait for 300 second timeout before failing causing others to wait.

No, at least not in any appreciable amount.

I have pretty much a hundred or more WUs sitting stuck at upload and crunch Rosetta and/or Einstein in the meantime, without such issues. Though some Rosetta tasks seem to use A LOT of RAM recently, to the extend that I stopped working on that and do Einstein in that case only now...

A quick look into the task manager/process list (depending on your OS) should tell you that there is no RAM use for any WCG WUs stuck at uploading or reporting...

Many thanks Ralf, I will check if the ram is being hogged and what is doing it.

All:

Please tell everyone to review this link in the forums:

https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewpostinthread?post=682966

WCG needs an infusion of greenery, for St. Patrick's day, to help stop these constant problems.

Please donate whatever you can, $5 or $10 :::: if 1,000 crunchers can each donate at least $5, many of these problems get resolved PERMANENTLY.

Thanks for anything you can do
.
