Running BOINC windows 10 64B. For the past three days, one of my computers has stopped running when the computer not in use!!! The Boinc status says it with the message "Suspended computer not in use" It is a desktop without battery and none of the Computer Preferences has the option to enable this mode of operation. What is going on ? My three other desk top use the same web based preferences and all work normally in continuing to process WU when the computer is not being used..

Two areas to check:
1) in the BOINC MANAGER; ACTIVITY; what is the status of: “Run…” - (I use “always” or “based on preferences”) GPU status (IF shown) - (I use “always”) and NETWORK status? - (I use “always”) 2) in WINDOWS -> SETTINGS -> SYSTEM -> POWER AND SLEEP: SCREEN turn off after: (on battery power) - leave as-is (When plugged in) - NEVER SLEEP turn off after: (On battery power) - leave as-is (When plugged in) - NEVER Let me know what you find and how that works for you. |
