Is there a way to financially contribute to the project? Especially through employer matching programs?

Have you noticed that the rise in activity per project in 2014 was atributed to fewer projects. Could the same thing be happening now?
I expect that the thru-put for WCG is very really down. Incidentally, why is the TB project not classed as intermittant. There have been no units for a very long time. |

Thread "2022-11-10 Update (New Storage & Weekly Results)" (post 678894) will tell you: "ARP project is starting again with more workunits available soon and HSTB is going to re-start in the coming weeks." ![]() |

And nothing better to celebrate an 18th birthday than the web site taking another dump in the morning... :(
Seriously Krembil, this is getting old. Almost 6 months since the relaunch now and you still can't keep the BOINC side or the web site/forum up and running for a whole week at a time... Ralf |

When the borked page says to look to facebook or twitter for more information, please place some more information there and let us know what is going on and an estimate of how long it may take to fix it. Today there was no information posted to either facebook or twitter during the outage.

In regards to the borked website, while I love to come in here and post on the forums and check my stats, I know when it is down that it will be up later and it isn't a big deal.
The big deal is the WUs. the website being down hasn't disrupted my returning or getting WUs. Are other people noticing something different? The website will be a big deal once they are on their feet enough to draw new people into volunteering for projects. They aren't there yet. They bit off way more than they could handle, and I'm grateful they did. They are making progress, very slow progress, but progress. Thank you to the people at Krembil trying to support WCG. We miss what we had before, but I'm grateful it is still here with a promise of being better in the future. |

Hey, look at the bright side, they post a "Happy Day for Freedom and Democracy" in Czech and Slovak republics!Cheers Ralf |

In regards to the borked website, while I love to come in here and post on the forums and check my stats, I know when it is down that it will be up later and it isn't a big deal. Well, how do you know that there isn't more going on? The big deal is the WUs. the website being down hasn't disrupted my returning or getting WUs. Are other people noticing something different? With forum and Overview/Results web pages down, how do you know that there isn't a validation issue? Or something else in the processing of the WUs broken? Yes, it is just one part of the whole WCG setup, but then it should be the easiest, most common (as there are millions of other web forums, but not THAT MANY BOINC sites) to keep up and running. And it has been in the past that shortly after the web site takes a dump, WU processing (the BOINC part) crapped out as well, with the dreaded download errors. Or uploads being stuck, like this morning, which was the reason why I wanted to check the forum, though it is not assured that Krembil posts a timely update as to what is going on... Ralf |
