Worse than that. I had no more running tasks so I deleted the WCG project. Why? Such action just don't make any sense. You're just messing with things you should leave alone.I reinstalled it, I copied my app_config.xml file which worked perfectly until then and now I have this message: "Your app_config.xml file refers to an unknown application 'opng'. Known applications: None" and of course no new tasks for OPN1 or OPNG not even an ARP or A MCM. While my other Windows PC downloads OPN1s from time to time. There is one thing that needs fixing and that is on Krembil's side... Ralf |

Ralf, I agree.
Seems that people insist on “fixing” things at their end when the established problem is at the source. Krembil. Whether the issue is no WU’s, downloading issues or lack of current status updates. It all comes down to various issues there. I will not be speculating to the “why’s” of the recent issues - I will leave that to Krembil. |

Thanks for letting us know about the workunit issues. The tech team are aware of the workunit shortage and are working to fix it. We will provide details on the issue once it has been resolved

Ralf, I agree. The "why" was in response to "Hypercomputing"'s actions to apparently try to fix and external problem. Together with this advice to others to just run some automated tasks to further overwhelm the system with repeated requests just don't make any sense.Seems that people insist on “fixing” things at their end when the established problem is at the source. Krembil. Whether the issue is no WU’s, downloading issues or lack of current status updates. It all comes down to various issues there. I know that the anemic responses from Krembil are at a point of being downright ludicrous, but some people just don't realize how the contribute the the problem instead of easing it, for everyone... Downloads are back.

By the looks of it, you're only asking work for your NVIDIA GPU (see above), so how do you expect to get any work for your CPU? |

No change is necessary, it worked before with the same parameters.

After checking your picture I noticed that it doesn't show if it's your default profile. And to me that seems to be important. Why? Well, did you see this? 10/24/2022 8:14:11 PM | World Community Grid | Host location: none 10/24/2022 8:14:11 PM | World Community Grid | General prefs: using your defaults Is that your default profile? Also, Paul's (PMH_UK) advice would be a very good one to follow. In that way you can verify if it worked out well. |
