help me

When I start my program,it keeps on downloading ,but never computing.Who can tell me why?Thank you for you kindness to tell me.

did you make sure that your pc meets the system requirements ?

Hi there,

I had similar problem at first. I ended up modifing the Device Profile and decrease the storage space. After that, it runs ok. You might want to try it too.

Thanks for the recommendation about storage. My old PC was doing the same thing and I revised the storage down. It is happily folding a protien now.

Given you don't know where to find the Device Profile, you are likely to run with the default - which allocates 1GB of disk. This default setting has worked for me on 4 WUs over the last week - - though I have since experienced problems similar to the ones widely reported by others (no apparent work being carried out, processing re-starting at 0 after hours of work etc).

If you want to play with your device profile, look for "Device Manager" on the left of the Member Area page.

Be aware, though, that changing the device profile only takes effect with your next new WU.
