I have joined using the wcg windows client for the time being but I am much more interested in using the Windows Boinc Client (which you are considering for the future). Simply stated, IF you want many thousands of new people crunching for you, don't just consider a Windows client, commit to producing a Windows client for Boinc. You know your history in attracting people using your current agent but you have no concept of what will happen immediately when you have a Windows client in place. Linux is ok for now but is a very small following compared to Windows users. Boincer's have gone from a small group of 100 or so people to about 300,000 in a little over 1.5 years. It's going to continue to grow specifically because of the flexibility of user choice in the Boinc Manager.
