I have BOINC running just fine on a quad Opteron 275 under a x86_64 kernel. Having trouble attaching to WCD but other projects run fine.


aelbric,

We are using SSL for communications between the BOINC client and the server. As a result you need to be using the latest version of the client from BOINC - in particular 5.2.6 or higher. This version added the capability to use SSL (among other changes).

I am running an AMD A64 X2 duel core on Linux with WCG. Both cores are crunching.

No problem, works good. BTW I am running Linux SuSe 10.0 64 Bit OS

ok i know it has been a while but i have finally boughtan amd dual core, have unbuntu linux, been running for 3 hrs so far already got one wcg running but dont know how to get the 2nd core running, i though attatch to project but already going?? what to do? please help
