Hello, I am wondering if everything is up and running yet. I uninstalled BOINC and re-installed from the WCG website. I see BOINC has the project already and it seems to download some project files (transfers tab), but then nothing shows up on the tasks tab.
I am wondering if the system is still down or my computer has issues. what is the latest? This upgrade/move seems to have gone wrong from day one. what shame on the leaders of this project. from my prospective, it seems to be taken as a joke or a hobby that doesn't really matter. :( |

WCG is still in testing, so you shouldn't expect to receive any WUs right now. There are some FAQ posts in the News forum if you want more details.

Hello, I am wondering if everything is up and running yet. I uninstalled BOINC and re-installed from the WCG website. I see BOINC has the project already and it seems to download some project files (transfers tab), but then nothing shows up on the tasks tab. I really wish some people would read existing posts first before posting and creating more noise than necessary....  What you download when re-installing the BOINC client (why?) are those general WCG project files, like background images and screen savers and such. As a general rules there are no WUs (Work Units) available, beside some short squirts iof testing WUs. I am wondering if the system is still down or my computer has issues. what is the latest? As far as actively crunching on WCG projects, yes, the system is still down, and no, there is no ETA from Krembil as to when all the kinks are going to be resolved and normal BOINC operation is going to recommence...This upgrade/move seems to have gone wrong from day one. what shame on the leaders of this project. from my prospective, it seems to be taken as a joke or a hobby that doesn't really matter.
