I'm trying to get back to WCG. Removed the project and added again with boincmgr, on Feodra 35. But it seems that its failing to request WCG servers.

Only the Web site with Forum are running so far, not BOINC service.

But it seems that its failing to request WCG servers Gosh, it has been mentioned ad nauseam by now on the forum and everywhere.The web site and the forum are back up, BUT THE BOINC SERVERS ARE NOT! And nobody will get any new WUs until they bring those back up... Ralf |

If people would use the forum link Recent Threads , instead of the forum link Index they would quickly see that the BOINC server is not up and running. Only the website and the forum is back up.
----------------------------------------This endless posting from so many about "not getting any work", is getting ridiculous now. Clue: Read posts on the forum, and then if you can't find answers to your issue, post about your problem. As of now, it's a crap load of threads about "not getting any work". Then perhaps it would be useful to state very clearly that information on the main page of the website. It is very clear on the main page. How can "Website and Forum Restart!", "Website and forum are now online." be misunderstood to mean that BOINC is also online? Well, technically, it also says "System migration completed". It is only clear to those of us who know the components.

Well, yes, maybe, as it seems a lot of people are trying to participate without knowing how BOINC actually works.But still the forum and at least the Facebook page are full of posts over the last week that mention rather clearly that the BOINC part is not up yet. And yes, it doesn't help that the powers to be at Krembil still have to learn their communication work as well... Ralf |
