Just one WU hangs a 99% and Estimated time remaining hangs at 17:23 and says it's running.

You will lose a little bit (12.5%), but I would reboot the system and see if that breaks the logjam. By the way, how long has it been "stuck" ?

Been stuck for a half an hour. BOINC paused and went to other work and when it went back to ARP it's done now.

My understanding is that at 99% the work is done and preparing to return has begun.
----------------------------------------This may be more i/o intensive while files are prepared to return with less CPU usage. Paul.

With less CPU usage? I don't think so since CPU was still at 100% and this is the only WU that did this. I see others go from 99.999% to 100% and uploading 15 sec later. This is the only ARP WU that caught my eye that didn't do that.
