With the new website, we get the "Streak" statistic on the "My Contribution" page.
For me, it says: Current streak: 16d What does the percentage mean?Longest streak: 16 days - (little badge symbol) 50% Maybe you could add the explanation to the info-button for the streak stat, so that people like me can find out quickly ;-) |

It means the longest consecutive number of days you have contributed to WCG (since KREMBIL took over)
----------------------------------------Mine says 46 which is how long ago they took over(from IBM) So it means you have missed days of contributions to WCG since they took over. What about the coloured squares to the left? Does that give you any kind of insight into anything? [Edit 2 times, last edit by BobbyB at Nov 4, 2021 7:37:17 PM] |

I suspect that the 50% means that 50% of crunchers have a longer streak that you. However, I might well be wrong. All my % show 1, which I guess means that I am in the top 1%.

Mine says 46 And what does your percentage say on the lower right corner of "Current Streak"?What about the coloured squares to the left? Does that give you any kind of insight into anything? Well, it's a heatmap, so you can use it to identify times of higher or lower activity (e.g. general upward/downward trend or weekdays vs. weekends). But I'm more of a bar/line chart guy. I like to see proportions, so I use the history or boincstats and not the heatmap. |

Mine now says 47 and 1%
I get that it's a heat map but at a glance can you see your situation re: output as compared to a bar chart which is immediate. Take for instance November 2 when there was a 6 hour shutdown. I was down ~12% as I'm sure you were and others were too. Can you spot that on the heat map? On a bar chart it would stick out. A bar/line chart would serve us better. But then what do we know? I keep my own stats but don't see them every day like I use to 48 days ago. |

If you want to see your stats, click on Community>Member>Multiple Member Comparison and enter your login in one of the boxes. Then click on Compare. Next time you try it, you will probably not have to enter yout login - just ckick on the same box and then Compare. Mike |

Yeah that works but isn't that like a crutch or a kludge. It's made to compare 2+ users and we trick it into showing just our own. It use to be there on the overview page. Now you need to fake something out.
Those were not the stats I was referring to. The ones I want to see were those three 14-day bar graphs in yellow. You could see your progress over 2 weeks. Nice. The best you can get now is the graphs on "My activity over time" but it's by project and no "all" option and you must select either results, runtime, or points. You can get a total by hovering over those little dots if you are lucky to hit that "sweet spot". Wonder how you do that on a tablet or telephone. No panic though. It's not like I'm about to slit my wrists or jump off the Jacques Cartier bridge. It was just nice. I just downloaded the data off that "My activity over time" and what is graphed on Nov 4 is reported as Nov 5 in the CSV. (maybe Australia time) That's no biggie either. We had functional and now we have pretty. |

We had functional and now we have pretty. Now the later is highly debatable...Ralf |

Funny I guess. Depends on the definition of pretty we use.For this post I used the terms: modern, "cool", up to date for the 21st century, stylish, fancy, and "in", I'm being sarcastic, of course. A lean, clean, functional site is also "pretty" if functional is what is important to you even if it looks old fashion. |

To conclude (and get back on topic): The percentage is probably the percentile of the streak, i.e. how many users have a streak equal to or longer than your own.
Thanks! |
