MCM1 seems to have been updated to a new version 7.61

We had to release a new version to update the WCG logo and replace the IBM logo with the Krembil logo in the screen savers. Each of the research apps (except for the GPU version of OPN) had a similar update. The apps are otherwise identical.

Well, it's still buggy. Just spotted two of the never-ending MCM tasks. There's also the probably different question about how it runs on the new Mac OS. I'm been nuking all MCM tasks on that machine, so I don't know if that bug is still there. (I was checking here to see if there was any fix, but evidently not.)

Shanen0, that computer may not have enough RAM. I've run over 14,000 MCM tasks without any issues.

I have been running them for years, mainly on Windows but sometimes on Ubuntu, without any problems I can recall.
The statistics here do not tell me much anyway, but they are my go-to project when I need a reliable backup. |

You’ll have to give us more details of the bugs you are seeing that cause you to nuke every MCM task if we are to help you |
