Hello!
----------------------------------------I am having a very long and hard time to convince my friends to join grid-technology. They just dont get it! For example: They dont think they or their chlidren can get cancer, corona or whatever but IF they do they have not parciptated in finding a cure nor for themselves or their children and IF/WHEN that MAYBE happen they say: - Oh shit, MAYBE they should have helped to research with their computers but they dont do that and than its to late! They often tell how powerful computers they have for gaming but they cant play games when they are very sick or dead. How can we convince them to participate!? ONE FOR ALL AND ALL FOR ONE! I have over 1700 fiends on Facebook. I post something congratulating myself whenever I earn a badge. I get a few likes, and a few questions, but after more than 12 years of occasionally encouraging people to join up, I have convinced only two friends. My family has been devastated by cancer several times, yet none of my relatives have joined up, AFAIK. It has been suggested elsewhere in these forums that awarding official printable achievement certificates, bringing back the old progress bars, or adding some sort of competitive fun factor might work. But I havent read that any of these measures are planned, unfortunately.
